2019 award entries are a treasure trove of innovative ideas

Each summer, the difficulty of judging entries for Chartwell’s Best Practices Awards surprises me.

No joke: The submissions get better every year.

In June, we received nearly 100 entries in our five main categories (Billing and Payment Programs, Communications, Contact Center, Program Marketing and Self-Service) and 33 entries for the People’s Choice — Video category.

Utilities are doing some really cool things, and I can’t wait to tell you about them at EMACS — The Customer Experience Conference, Sept. 30-Oct. 3 in New Orleans.

Our judges really have their work cut out for them over the next couple of weeks, and our analysts will have a wealth of data, strategies and best practices to explore afterward. While we can only give out so many awards, our judging folders contain a large number of attention-worthy efforts
