BGE Outage Tracker Offers Customers Enhanced Post-Outage Information

When BGE found that customers were becoming increasingly frustrated with power restoration messaging, the Outage Journey team began developing the BGE Outage Tracker, which translates complex operational information into updates to reassure customers that the utility is working 24/7 to make necessary repairs as soon as possible. BGE won Chartwell’s 2022 Gold Award in Outage Communications for the tool.
