Duke Energy payment arrangement pilot provides financial respite during pandemic

Duke Energy earned Chartwell's 2020 Gold Best Practices Award in the Billing and Payment category for the proactive payment arrangements it created when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged in March. Between April 29 and early June, Duke Energy distributed more than 126,000 offers to eligible customers, and more than 7,000 enrolled in a payment arrangement.
