Evergy Develops Unique Shadow-Billing Approach for TOU Education Strategy

When Evergy wanted to implement opt-in TOU rates in Missouri, its regulators asked the company to develop a shadow-billing business case to identify and evaluate the best way to help customers understand the impact the new rate options could have on their electricity bills. Evergy developed a three-step solution comprised of rate education reports, an online rate analysis tool and post-enrollment reports.
