Improving the ETR customer experience

During an outage of any duration, an ETR is by far the most important piece of information customers need. Delivering ETRs that meet customers’ increasingly high expectations regarding accuracy and timeliness, however, poses a seemingly endless array of challenges. This report draws on Chartwell consumer and industry surveys as well as utility interviews to shed light on current challenges and recent successes improving the ETR customer experience during blue-sky outages.
