Consumers want to save energy and money. Utilities and tech firms want to save time and money getting energy efficiency products to market. FortisBC’s Innovative Technologies Recruitment Campaign met these wants through a marketing campaign to recruit pilot participants, raise awareness of energy efficiency technologies, and brand FortisBC as a leader in innovation. The campaign, which took home  an Honorable Mention in the Program Marketing category of Chartwell’s 2021 Best Practices Awards, exceeded targets, enrolling over 3,000 participants in three months, reducing future pilot recruitment timelines by 60%, and eliminating communication expenses for future projects.
