Utility Residential EV Programs

As the EV market continues to expand, many utilities are working to ensure their grids are prepared for additional demand by offering residential programs that encourage owners to charge their vehicles during off-peak times. Some companies are offering EV incentives to encourage the installation of in-home chargers and/or installing charger stations in their service territories to meet customer demand for on-the-go charging. This infographic uses information from Chartwell’s 2022 Utility EV Audit to identify trends in residential EV offerings.
