Energy Programs and Services – TVA Virtual Home Energy Audits

The TVA launched a virtual home energy audit application on June 1 to allow customers to use augmented-reality technology to audit their energy devices. When TVA began planning the application in the fall of 2019, they did not know it would soon be their only tool to reach customers and meet their energy efficiency goals in 2020. The tool began as a customer option, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced an accelerated rollout and expanded use.
