Planned Outage Notifications Prepare BGE Customers for Service Interruptions

To improve its communications with customers in advance of planned outages, BGE refined its processes throughout 2021 to deliver relevant notifications via email, text, voice calls and mobile push. Customers now receive timely initial planned outage notifications and reminders, as well as cancelation and/or reschedule notifications when applicable. BGE won Chartwell's 2022 Bronze Award in Outage Communications for its improvements.
