Predictive Model Positions AEP for More Efficient Outage Response
For several years, AEP has been leveraging its Storm Outage Prediction Model to assess restoration requirements more effectively, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and reduced costs related to storm response logistics. The utility took home Chartwell’s 2021 Silver Outage Restoration Award for its efforts.
