PG&E’s 2016 Outage Notifications Experience project used large-scale data analytics to identify customer pain points and drive process improvements around automated outage notifications. The comprehensive and successful initiative has paved the way for future projects and helped PG&E achieve record customer satisfaction levels with its outage experience in 2017. PG&E took home Chartwell’s 2017 Silver Award in Outage Communications for its efforts.
